Satya D. Pradhuman Prior to forming Cirrus in 2007, Satya spent more than 20 years on Wall Street in the equity research departments of E.F. Hutton, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. In 1994, Satya founded the Small Cap Research department at Merrill Lynch, applying a top-down and bottom-up methodology to the small and mid cap arena. He developed proprietary tools for timing small and large cap performance cycles in the US and across regions, growth and value cycles, volatility swings and capital access trends. His innovative analysis includes linking private equity markets to public markets via the small cap sector. Satya's highly regarded work attained ranking by Institutional Investor magazine for 11 straight years. He has authored Small Cap Dynamics (Bloomberg Press, 2000) and contributed "The Presence of Value in Small-Cap Equities" to Equity Style Management (Klein and Lederman, Irwin, 1995). Satya holds a BS in Math and Computer Science from Union College and a MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Mitchell J. HewStrategist 914.289.1410 Mitch began his career on Wall Street as a research and trading assistant for the Rothschild Recovery Fund in 1998. In April 2000, he joined Wilbur Ross, Jr. and members of the Rothschild restructuring team forming WL Ross & Co. LLC, a leader in financial restructuring, private equity and alternative investments. At WL Ross, Mitch served as System Administrator and later Chief Information Officer, overseeing all levels of end user, messaging and telecommunications support including network security and portfolio management/accounting system design. Mitch holds an BA from Yale University.
Georgiana Fung, CFAStrategist 914.289.1424 Georgiana brings to Cirrus a decade of analytical experience focused on smaller companies. As a member of the Small Cap Research team at Merrill Lynch, she developed investment and sector strategies via extensive analysis of performance drivers, risk-taking signals, fund flows and asset allocation. She is also recognized for research on the private equity market in relation to small caps, having co-authored articles in Private Equity International and Journal of Private Equity. Georgiana holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder and New York Society of Security Analysts member. She is also fluent in Cantonese. Justin J. O’Grady Sales Associate 914.289.1418 917.902.8372 (mobile) Justin’s career in Financial Services encompasses perspectives from sales, trading and research. At Merrill Lynch he was an associate strategist for the top-ranked Latin America Equity Strategy research team and product manager for Emerging Markets Daily. He has traded proprietary hedge fund accounts on the floor of the American Stock Exchange and marketed financing transactions and private placements to institutional investors. He also proudly served as assistant to the CEO and an elite athlete coordinator for The ING New York City Marathon, in which he has successfully crossed the finish line. Justin holds a BA from Columbia University.
Thirza has worked at Bessemer Trust Company, Bradford Equities Management and Horizon Organic Holding Corporation providing administrative support for executives in the areas of marketing, communications and investor relations. Her experience includes project and event coordination, database administration, report and collateral materials creation and vendor management. Thirza holds a BA from Denison University.
